House-made garganelli with duck and endive
This pasta course was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. The garganelli was cooked al dente. The mild flavor of the sauce went beautifully with the richness of the duck meat.
Oxtail with Gnocchi Alla Romana
The oxtail dish was hearty in all the right ways. It was topped with golden raisins and pine nuts, which added both a sweetness and a crunch.
Bucatini All’ Amatriciana
The Guanciale, red onion, thick tomato sauce, and bucatini, were all simple and humble, but altogether superb. It tickled the taste buds, and there was truly no need to gussy it up with additional ingredients.
