So at Minetta Tavern we ordered all kinds of meat, more than I can comprehend below…
Thick cut Bacon
Pasta Za Za - fresh pasta with pancetta, sage, parmesan, and a fried egg
Already worthy of praise since there was a running yolk involved. And after the first bite, I was in love.
Tavern Steak – with pommes frites
To be honest, this steak was alright. The meat was sort of dry. And the fries, for sure not the best I have had. However, I do like Minetta Tavern’s no-fuss-and-cut-to-the-bone style. I will probably return to try their signature Black Label Burger.
Such a sans vegetable meal…I went home reeking of meat.
